Union Regulations and us
‘Union Regulations’ is regulated on our labor union’s organization and management, as it ware union member’s constitution. It have each ’Rules’ which are defined more detail. All union members need to know these contents well.
◇Purpose (Article 4)
(1) Improve union member’s working conditions and their economical/social position.
(2) Reflect member’s opinion on company management.
(3) Contribute to democratize company management.
◇Member’s right (Article 11)
(1) ‘Voting rights’ and ‘Eligibility for election’ to elect executives and other representatives who are defined by regulations.
(2) Rights to request to held various union’s meetings and to observe them.
(3) Rights to speak/vote in various union’s meetings with some prescribed qualifications and rights of speaking freely on newsletter and so on.
(4) Rights to access to Union’s official documents, minutes, leader, voucher and so on.
(5) Rights to request the union-related information.
(6) Rights to impeach committees and relieve shop-stewards/electives.
(7) Rights not to receive as a retribution without due formalities.
◇Member’s obligation (Article 12)
(1) Comply below obligations and contribute to union’s sound development.
(2) Behave in accordance with decisions/regulation from each committees.
(3) Obey the labor agreement and other regulations.
(4) Attend prescribed meetings and participate in resolutions.
(5) Pay union dues.
(8) Keep union’s confidential information a secret.
◇Union dues
(1) 1.0% of monthly salary (12 times per 1 year)
◇General meeting (Article 11)
(1) ’Supreme Voting Organ’ of Union.
(2) Organized by Central Committee Executive and union members.
◇Central committee (Article 21, 39)
(1) The second ‘Voting organ’ after General meeting.
(2) Central committee members are elected based on constants of each branches.
◇Central executive committee (Article 28, 44, 47)
(1) ‘Supreme executive organ’ which is in charge of enforcing resolutions based on each voting organ’s decisions.
(2) Members are elected from all union members and chairman represents Union.
